Director, Americas ALM Sales

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, Americas ALM Sales in the United States.

This leadership role is responsible for driving the growth of a high-impact Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) sales business across the Americas. You will lead a specialized sales team focused on expanding market share and accelerating new revenue streams in a competitive and evolving software landscape. The position combines strategic planning, hands-on sales leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and customer success teams. You will play a key role in shaping go-to-market execution, building scalable sales processes, and ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets. This is a highly visible role that requires both operational discipline and a strong commercial mindset. Accountabilities
  • Define and execute a comprehensive ALM sales strategy aligned with growth and revenue objectives across the Americas.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales specialists, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Drive pipeline creation, new ACV growth, forecasting accuracy, and overall sales performance tracking.
  • Identify new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with key customers, supporting retention, upsell, and cross-sell initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective go-to-market execution and customer success outcomes.
  • Manage regional budgets and resources to optimize return on investment and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in ALM software sales or a closely related enterprise software environment.
  • Proven success in leading high-performing sales teams and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of ALM solutions, competitive landscape, and emerging industry technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience using CRM and sales analytics tools (e.g., SFDC, forecasting platforms, performance dashboards).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a large territory.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
