About This Position
Meridians Restaurant at the Sun City Lincoln Hills Community Association is looking for an experienced, service oriented Server to join our team. In this role, you will welcome and assist members and guests, take accurate food and beverage orders, describe menu items and specials, and ensure timely delivery of meals in coordination with kitchen and bar staff. Servers are expected to maintain a warm, professional presence, handle guest questions and concerns, and uphold high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization of the dining room organization. This position plays a key part in creating a positive, enjoyable dining experience for every guest.
The ideal candidate has at least one year of serving experience, strong communication and hospitality skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions. Servers must be able to stand and move throughout the shift, lift up to 80 lbs., operate the POS system, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and comply with all food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-One year of restaurant experience
-Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certificate card preferred, or must acquire within 60 days of employment
-Food handler’s card preferred, or must acquire within 30 days of employment
-Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills required
-Image must be professional and well suited to a high-volume service activity
-CPR/AED/First Aid certificate desirable
