About This Position
American Community Bank & Trust (ACBT), the largest locally owned bank in McHenry County, is seeking an AI Coach to accelerate practical, compliant AI adoption across the bank. You will partner with bankers and teams to identify high-value opportunities, deliver hands-on MS Copilot training, mentor users, and measure real business impact. This role blends technical literacy, change management, and coaching to translate AI capabilities into every day work improvements. What You'll Do:
- Collaborate: Work with bankers and departments to discover AI-driven process improvements; run workflow assessments and prioritize opportunities by impact and feasibility.
- Train & Coach: Design and deliver technical, hands-on training (MS Copilot tools, algorithms, frameworks); lead workshops on optimization and integration into daily workflows; teach ethical and compliance-aware AI use.
- Drive Adoption: Create strategies, resources, and personalized coaching to increase AI use; launch recognition programs for high-impact use cases.
- Measure Impact: Track tool performance and user engagement, analyze effectiveness, and prepare clear reports showcasing metrics and success stories.
- Lead Change: Guide teams through transitions to AI-driven processes, address concerns, and communicate benefits to build trust.
- Communicate: Develop engaging presentations and bank-wide reports to share initiatives and wins.
- Mentor: Support bankers adopting AI, host knowledge-sharing sessions, and cultivate collaborative learning.

Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 1–3 years in process optimization, with ~2 years on AI or machine learning–related projects. Desirable experience in coaching, training, or mentoring. Experience in the banking industry preferred.
Technical Literacy: You should have a basic understanding of AI concepts (including supervised vs. unsupervised learning) and be aware of common AI applications such as classification and forecasting. Familiarity with project management and data visualization tools is expected, along with an eagerness to learn cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Foundational knowledge of the ML lifecycle is preferred, and a strong willingness to deepen that knowledge is essential. You must be able to document workflows and possess proficient data-interpretation skills.
