Are you ready to help shape the future? Come join us!

About the Role:

As a Regulatory Specialist, Chemical Regulations, you will play a key role in shaping the regulatory content that powers 3E’s platforms. You’ll support global regulatory research, contribute to Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring logic, and help ensure our customers have access to accurate, up-to-date compliance information across a range of products and use cases.

In this role, you will interpret global chemical regulations and translate them into structured, usable content that supports 3E’s digital solutions. You’ll help define how regulatory requirements impact SDS outputs and broader compliance offerings, working closely with regulatory experts, Insights teams, and Solutions Architects to ensure content is accurate, scalable, and aligned with customer needs.

You’ll be joining a dynamic, evolving environment where products are expanding, processes are continuously improving, and AI is increasingly embedded into how we work. Success in this role comes from curiosity and a desire to continuously learn, along with the ability to think in systems—connecting regulatory requirements to product logic and data structures. You’ll be encouraged to take initiative, contribute ideas, and explore new technologies, including AI, to improve how work gets done.

This role also offers meaningful opportunities for growth. You’ll build expertise in global and regional chemical regulations, take ownership of specific content areas, and gain exposure to a variety of 3E products and solutions. As you grow, you’ll have the opportunity to increase your visibility, contribute to industry knowledge, and partner with cross-functional teams to shape how regulatory intelligence is delivered through technology.

What You'll Do
  • Research and interpret global chemical regulations, including frameworks such as REACH (EU), TSCA (US), K-REACH (South Korea), GHS, and Japanese chemical control laws
  • Analyze how regulatory requirements impact 3E products and translate them into structured logic for Safety Data Sheet (SDS) outputs and broader compliance solutions
  • Support the development and maintenance of regulatory content pipelines across multiple products
  • Draft and validate regulatory logic in collaboration with senior team members
  • Monitor global regulatory updates and contribute to internal tracking, alerts, and summaries
  • Provide regional expertise in Japanese regulations, ensuring accurate interpretation and relevance of content, including leveraging language and cultural understanding
  • Contribute to regulatory insights related to Japan, including engagement with industry groups or associations where applicable
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory specialists, product teams, Insights, and Solutions Architects
  • Contribute to AI-enabled workflows by helping train and refine digital agents used for regulatory monitoring, summarization, translation, and data classification
  • Identify inconsistencies or gaps in regulatory content and recommend improvements
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous learning across a global team
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Toxicology, Environmental Law, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in SDS authoring, regulatory research, or chemical compliance
  • Strong knowledge of global chemical regulations, including REACH, TSCA, K-REACH, and GHS
  • Knowledge of Japanese chemical regulations and fluency in Japanese (preferred or required depending on role scope)
  • Ability to interpret complex regulatory or legal text and translate it into structured, rules-based logic
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and organizational skills
  • Comfort working with digital tools, data, and systems; experience with AI-assisted tools is a plus
  • Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English and ability to collaborate across global teams
