Seasonal CDL Driver (Class B / Class A Preferred) Hoisting 1A License Required
Location: Dennis, MA

About the Role
Koopman Lumber is seeking a Seasonal CDL Driver to support our Dennis location during the busy season. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role — not just driving from point A to point B. Drivers are responsible for delivering building materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent service on every jobsite.

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate Class B (or Class A) trucks to deliver lumber and building materials
• Load and unload materials using a Moffett, forklift, and manual labor as needed
• Deliver to residential and commercial jobsites, including active construction sites
• Pick up returns and ensure materials are accounted for and in good condition
• Secure loads properly and perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections
• Communicate with dispatch using mobile devices or tablets
• Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and required documentation
• Represent Koopman Lumber professionally with customers and jobsite personnel

This role requires physical effort, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt on the job — it is not dock-to-dock driving.

What You Bring

• Valid CDL Class B required (Class A preferred)
• Hoisting License (1C) required
• Experience operating Moffett and forklifts strongly preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and customer service
• Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for communication and routing

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier lifting as needed
• Frequent bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, and material handling
• Ability to work in outdoor environments throughout the season
