This role provides a senior-level opportunity to lead technical design and consulting efforts across complex, multi-discipline projects. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while mentoring and guiding project teams to deliver high-quality, coordinated outcomes. The position requires a balance of technical expertise, project leadership, and process improvement, with a focus on strengthening discipline standards and delivery consistency. You will be instrumental in shaping project workflows, supporting client engagements, and contributing to firmwide knowledge and best practices. Success in this role involves influencing technical decisions, elevating team performance, and delivering exceptional results across both internal and client-facing initiatives.
- Lead discipline-specific design efforts on complex, multi-stakeholder projects, ensuring alignment with standards, client expectations, and project objectives
- Mentor and guide engineers, designers, and production team members through hands-on technical coaching, feedback, and structured performance input
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, contributing to pursuits, scope definition, and strategic discussions to support business growth
- Contribute to improving internal systems, templates, and workflows, capturing lessons learned, and promoting consistent, scalable processes
- Maintain project health by monitoring scope, schedule, deliverable quality, and coordination readiness, identifying risks early and recommending solutions
- Support firmwide knowledge sharing, internal training, and discipline standards documentation to elevate overall team capability and delivery excellence
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- 8+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services, with demonstrated technical expertise and discipline-specific capability (ICT, Security, Physical Security, Electronic Security)
- Proven ability to lead technical portions of complex projects with minimal oversight, ensuring high-quality outcomes and alignment with client requirements
- Experience contributing to standards, templates, QA/QC workflows, and documentation improvements using platforms such as GitHub, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace
- Strong client-facing communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills
- Professional certifications preferred by discipline, such as PSP, CPP, CDT, EIT, PE, or PMP
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed for surveys, inspections, or site walks
