Associate Director, Strategic Finance

As Associate Director, Strategic Finance, you will shape financial planning, performance analysis, and long-term capital allocation strategies that directly influence company growth. You will partner closely with senior leadership across product, operations, and go-to-market teams to evaluate key investments and strategic initiatives. The role requires a strong blend of analytical rigor and business judgment, with exposure to executive and board-level discussions. You will also help build scalable financial frameworks that improve visibility and decision-making across the organization. Accountabilities:
  • Lead strategic financial planning processes, including long-range planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting across multiple business units
  • Develop executive-level financial insights and narratives to support board materials, investor communications, and leadership decision-making
  • Drive capital allocation and investment prioritization to ensure resources are aligned with highest-impact business opportunities
  • Partner with senior leaders across product, operations, and commercial teams to evaluate strategic initiatives such as market expansion, pricing, and product investments
  • Conduct in-depth business performance analysis, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities to support data-driven decisions
  • Build and improve financial models that support strategic planning and enterprise-wide decision-making
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve financial visibility, reporting frameworks, and operational efficiency
  • Support the development of scalable finance infrastructure, tools, and processes in a global operating environment
  • Mentor and support team members within the strategic finance function, strengthening analytical and strategic capabilities

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, or private equity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience influencing senior executives and driving high-impact, company-wide initiatives
  • Strong financial modeling expertise with the ability to build and manage complex, decision-driving models
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities, including experience presenting to executive leadership or boards
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of business performance drivers in scaling organizations
  • Experience in high-growth or technology-driven environments is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with data tools such as SQL or BI platforms (e.g., Tableau) is a plus
