Job Description
The Technical Support Representative position is in the business of assisting clients and field staff with technical support needs of electronic security systems (video surveillance systems, access control systems, burglary alarm systems, etc) and software/mobile applications functionality. Support generally includes, but not limited to, end user creditable management, new device set-up/deployments, device portal management, remote network configurations and port forwarding, system event/log searching and archiving, hardware failure troubleshooting, 3rd party IT vendors communications, system functionality testing and optimizing, etc. Multiple communication tools are utilized and include phone, text, email, chat and screen sharing. The position also includes special projects as needed. A strong emphasize on customer service, teamwork, suggestive selling and computer networking is required.
