Maintenance Technician

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking to put your expertise to work on high-precision metalworking equipment? Join Productivity, Inc. — a leader in machine tool sales, service, and automation integration since 1968.

We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with industrial maintenance experience and formal electrical training to support customers with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced production equipment.

What You’ll Do

Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of CNC metalworking machines

Machine installations and setup

Perform adjustments and repairs of spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance

Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams

What You Bring

3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience

Strong understanding of servo systems, ball screws, spindles, and control systems (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, experience helpful)

Technical training or certification in mechatronics, electro-mechanical systems, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance, fluid power, etc

Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics

Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills

Willingness to travel locally to customer sites, with 4-6 overnights per month

Valid driver's license - clean driving record

Compensation and Benefits

$30 - $38/hour DOE, plus incentives - annual performance & salary reviews

Full-time, Monday – Friday, with occasional overtime
