RESQRS is seeking highly skilled and competent Paramedics. RESQRS Paramedics will be utilized in the Non-Emergency Interfacility Transport (NEIFT) divisions with the opportunity to further cross-train into other areas of ground transportation logistics and special operations. RESQRS Paramedics will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of prompt, efficient, and compassionate care to patients in emergency and non-emergency situations. In this role, you will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, assess patient conditions, and provide the appropriate treatments. Position Summary:
RESQRS is seeking highly skilled and competent Paramedics. RESQRS Paramedics will be utilized in the Non-Emergency Interfacility Transport (NEIFT) divisions with the opportunity to further cross-train into other areas of ground transportation logistics and special operations. RESQRS Paramedics will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of prompt, efficient, and compassionate care to patients in emergency and non-emergency situations. In this role, you will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, assess patient conditions, and provide the appropriate treatments. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to fellow paramedics and EMTs in the field, helping them uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Routine workload includes, but is not limited to, daily vehicle inspections, equipment operational inspections, stock inventory, narcotics accountability logs, shift training, vehicle cleaning, and station housekeeping
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and arrive at the scene safely and efficiently
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients during emergency and non-emergency medical transportation
- Administer advanced life support (ALS) treatments and interventions, including airway and ventilatory management, cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and medication administration, based on the assessment findings
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical personnel, and other first responders to coordinate patient care and transport
- Document all patient assessments, treatments, and interventions accurately and thoroughly in the ePCR
- Safely operate RESQRS transport units and transport patients safely to the appropriate destination
- Maintain equipment and supplies in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Participate in RESQRS trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay current with best practices in emergency medical care
- Other operational duties, as assigned
Qualifications:

- Ability to maintain composure and make effective decisions in high-pressure situations
Skills & Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform prolonged periods of standing, walking, and lifting
- Must be able to drive for extended periods of time under non-emergent and emergent conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs individually & 100 lbs with assistance
- Pass pre-employment drug testing
Required Education & Clearances:
- Valid driver's license
- Valid PA DOH certification (EMT); or NREMT
- Current PALS & ACLS
- EVDT/EMSVO & CPR
- NIMS 100/200/700/800
- Pass a criminal background check (PATCH)
- Pass FBI fingerprinting clearance & Child Abuse Clearance (CWIS)
- Have a clean driving record & insurable by company commercial auto carrier
- 5 years of unrestricted driving experience – Required
- Must receive an active medical command status from RESQRS appointed Medical Director
Shift:
- 16-hour shifts
- Overtime is available and may be required
Compensation:
- $40 per hour

Due to the nature of prehospital working conditions, employees may be exposed to inclement weather, potential hazardous conditions, psychological stressors, diseases, and other illnesses. Frequent interruptions, work pressure, difficult personalities, and irregularities in work schedule are expected. Employees are subject to continually changing deadlines, while performing the duties of this job. The employee will be occasionally required to attend meetings, some of which may take place outside of regular working hours.
