About This Position
Program: Valley Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)
Pay: Range starts at $34.50/hour (pay is calculated based on years of licensed experience)
Schedule Options:
- Tues - Fri | 10 hour shifts or
- Mon - Fri | 8 hour shifts

Job Summary & Deliverables
The Crisis Care Nurse functions as a member of assigned Valley crisis teams and assists with determining the most appropriate treatment regimen to meet the identified needs of clients who need intensive treatment and services. The Nurse provides medication coordination, nursing assessments, and monitors client health care needs.
Essential Functions
- Assists prescribers and clients with ongoing medication management in clinic and various community based settings
- Provides client education and support regarding medications and medical concerns
- Triages medical needs based on severity and acuity
- Provides medical screening, treatment, referrals, and support
- Performs blood draws and completes necessary lab work
- Provides appropriate referrals for medical and dental care
- Maintains all necessary documentation and clinical records
- Provide in-service training for program staff on common medical issues and appropriate treatment, intervention, and support strategies
- Bills for services in a timely manner
- Meets required client care and other organizational performance expectations
- Maintains after-hours and weekend on-call availability
Education
- Completion of a Registered Nurse training program from an accredited organization
- Graduation from ValleyAcademy
Experience

Licenses/Certifications
- RN license in state of practice
- CPR certification
- Valley de-escalation certification
Preferred Qualifications
- ICU, ER, paramedic, or other crisis stabilization experience
- Behavioral Health experience
