Position Title: RN Supervisor - MSK Pain Center

Description

Wage Range: $95,513.60 - $152,734.40 per year
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.
Job Summary:
Provides integrated operational and clinical leadership for designated Musculoskeletal (MSK) medical clinics including Evergreen Sport and Spine, Interventional Spine Care, and other assigned clinics.This role ensures the seamless integration of business operations with clinical excellence.
Primary Duties:

  1. Provides oversight of clinic nurses and support staff to ensure patient care aligns with established standards.
  2. Implements andmonitorsclinic care protocols, medication management, and health maintenance updates.
  3. Develops and implements efficient office management systems that address the needs of both the patients and theorganization.
  4. Ensures the timeliness, accuracy, and security of the patient medical record; audits electronic medical record (EMR) tomaintaindata standards.
  5. Ensuresappropriateand adequate clinical and administrative staffing levels to meet daily operational needs.
  6. Continually evaluates patient flow and provides intervention to facilitate patient care in an optimal timeline.
  7. Anticipates problems and obstacles in clinic settings and applies appropriate problem-solving skills to prevent or reduce delay in patient care.
  8. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care in a collaborative manner with the patient and patients family, significant other and members of the care team.
  9. Activelymonitorsmonthly and annual budgeted expenses. Assiststhe department leadership in developing revenue,expenseand capital budgetswithin organizational guidelines.
  10. Addresses billing and coding issues in collaborative with the department leadership to ensurefinancialaccuracy.
  11. Oversees medical supply procurement, medication reconciliation, and inventory checklists.
  12. Ensures the office and personnel are in compliance with EvergreenHealth policies. Ensures operation is in regulatory compliance with all governing agencies or bodies (DNV/JCAHO, OSHA, Medicare, HIPAA etc.).
  13. Manages all employment aspects of clinical and operational personnel, including hiring, onboarding, ongoing training, and staff departure. Collaborates with Medical Director regarding mid-level practitioners and physicians.
  14. Responsible for completing yearly performancesevaluations and clinical staff competencies.
  15. Collaborates withClinicalQI and Informatics specialists to design, implement, andmonitorquality projects and data collection.
  16. Completestimelyreports for quality control audits and JCAHO and DNV compliance metrics to ensure best practice standards.
  17. Leads the investigationofSafelinQevents, providing feedback to staff and clinic leadership.
  18. Effectively communicates all relevant informationregardingsafety,equipment, and quality issues todepartmentleadership.
  19. Maintainsclinicalproficiencytoperform clinical duties (e.g., vitals,EMR intake, procedural cases, medication administration, patient monitoring and assessment) to supportthe team as needed.
  20. Performs otherdutiesassigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
  • 3 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS American Heart Association
  • Current Healthcare Provider ACLS American Heart Association
DESIRED for the position:
  • Previous lead and/or supervisory experience
  • Experience in an outpatient or ambulatory setting, specifically within Musculoskeletal or similar procedural specialties.
