About This Position
Mimosa House is a fast-growing, multi-location brunch and breakfast restaurant group based in the Sacramento area. We are known for our creative mimosa menu, elevated brunch dishes, and the kind of warm, genuine hospitality that makes guests want to come back every weekend. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and guest-obsessed FOH Manager to join our team and help us build something great.
About the Role
As an FOH Manager at Mimosa House, you are the heartbeat of the guest experience. You own the floor. You set the tone for every shift. You are the person your team looks to when things get hard, and you are the first to celebrate when things go right. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from the back office — this is a role for someone who wants to be in it, every shift, every day.
What You Will Do
• Lead every shift with energy, presence, and clear direction — your team should never wonder what the standard is
• Own the guest experience from the moment a guest walks in to the moment they walk out
• Conduct a daily pre-shift that is a dialogue, not a monologue — one story, one question, one rallying moment
• Monitor and enforce service standards including greeting protocol, water service, check-back timing, dessert offers, and table pacing
• Manage allergy protocols with zero tolerance for error — every allergy is confirmed by the manager, communicated directly to the kitchen, and followed up on personally
• Address guest concerns in the moment — never let a table leave unhappy without personally intervening
• Coach, develop, and hold your FOH team accountable to the Mimosa House standard
• Manage floor deployment, section assignments, and staffing to ensure no table is ever under-served
• Monitor and respond to guest reviews within 24 hours of posting
• Partner with the Kitchen Lead to ensure food pacing, ticket timing, and window hold standards are met every shift
• Contribute to a weekly guest satisfaction report and be prepared to present action plans to leadership
What We Are Looking For
• 2+ years of FOH management experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
• A genuine love of hospitality — not just service, but the art of making people feel welcomed and cared for
• Proven ability to lead a team under pressure without losing your composure or your warmth
• Strong communication skills with the ability to give direct feedback and receive it gracefully
• Experience managing guest complaints and turning negative experiences into loyal guests
• Food Handler’s Certification and knowledge of allergen protocols required
• Availability to work weekends — brunch is our business and Saturdays and Sundays are our Super Bowl
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive salary commensurate with experience
• Performance-based bonuses tied to guest satisfaction scores
• Meals provided during shift
• Growth opportunity within a fast-expanding restaurant group
If you are the kind of manager who knows every table’s name before the shift ends, who stays late not because you have to but because you want to make sure your team is set up for success — we want to talk to you.
