About the Role:

The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution and completion of manufacturing projects by providing comprehensive support to project managers and cross-functional teams. This position is responsible for coordinating project activities, managing schedules, and maintaining clear communication among stakeholders to meet project objectives within scope, time, and budget constraints. The Project Coordinator will oversee the administration of project documentation, including change orders and project plans, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. By effectively utilizing project management software and tools, the coordinator will track progress, identify potential risks, and facilitate timely resolution of issues. Ultimately, this role contributes to the seamless delivery of manufacturing projects that align with organizational goals and customer expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination or project administration within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management software tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with change order processes and contract management in manufacturing projects.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting tools to support project tracking and decision-making.
  • Previous experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers in developing, updating, and maintaining detailed project plans using Microsoft Project and other project management software.
  • Coordinate and monitor project schedules to ensure deadlines are met and resources are effectively allocated.
  • Manage project documentation, including change orders, status reports, and meeting minutes, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, vendors, and clients to support project progress and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders and escalating risks or delays as necessary.
