About This Position

Siena Catholic Schools of Racine is seeking a 4th Grade Teacher to join the St. Joseph family for the 26/27 school year and beyond.
Siena Catholic Schools of Racine unites the area’s six Catholic elementary schools (John Paul II Academy, Our Lady of Grace Academy, St. Joseph, St. Lucy, St. Rita, St. Sebastian STEM Academy) and one high school (St. Catherine's) in a regional model of Catholic education intended to preserve the individual identity, history, and uniqueness of each school while maximizing the impact of collective strength.

Job Summary:

  • Inspiring students and promoting mastery in subject areas.
  • Helping to develop and implement curriculum that is aligned with Wisconsin State Standards, Common Core Standards and Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards as they evolve.
  • Providing continual assessment of student progress and maintaining records.
  • Continually evaluating instructional performance to meet the needs of the students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate subject area.

• Appropriate State of Wisconsin licensing and certification is preferred

• Knowledge of application of best teaching practices

• Ability to work in a high achieving school in a diverse environment.

Preferred:

• Demonstrate commitment to the principles of Catholic Faith.

• Elementary teaching experience

• Have general knowledge of transformative technology instruction.
