The Quality Risk & Compliance Specialist will support organizational programs aligned with regulatory requirements, helping to maintain accreditation standards, monitor compliance, and drive quality improvement initiatives. You will conduct audits, manage credentialing processes, and support staff training, while collaborating across teams to identify and mitigate risks. The position emphasizes attention to detail, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving to safeguard both patient care and organizational integrity. Accountabilities:
  • Assist in implementing and overseeing quality, risk, and compliance programs in alignment with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Support credentialing verification, including staff licensure, certification, and registration
  • Facilitate competency assessments for staff and monitor ongoing evaluations to ensure compliance with standards
  • Participate in identifying, assessing, and mitigating quality, risk, and compliance issues, including investigations and root cause analyses
  • Conduct internal audits and follow-up on corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Support the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Educate staff on compliance policies and telehealth-specific standards, promoting a culture of accountability

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare quality, risk, or compliance, with demonstrated ability to monitor and analyze trends
  • Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and applicable federal and state regulations
  • Proven experience coordinating audits, clinical documentation reviews, and corrective action follow-ups
  • Strong ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks, including participation in investigations
  • Experience developing policies and procedures and educating staff on compliance standards
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Suite; advanced degree in a health-related field preferred
