About This Position
Now Hiring - USPS CDS Rural Mail Carrier
TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC, the nation’s leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with offices in 20 states, is currently seeking applicants to deliver mail on a CDS mail route recently solicited and posted by the USPS in the Spring Branch, TX area.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Texas driver's license; able to lift 70 lbs., able to work in all types of weather conditions and must reside in the area.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active boxes
- Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle.
- Delivering mail along a mile assigned line-of-travel.
- Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
- Other administrative duties are required
*MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN VEHICLE*
Minimum Vehicle and Insurance Requirements:
- Applicant must furnish vehicle, which meets postal regulations, and meet postal driving requirements.
- One Dependable vehicle that provides 150 cubic feet of usable load space for mail and parcels. (Mini-Van, SUV, Truck with Camper Shell)
- $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for contract vehicle
- The applicant is responsible for all the vehicle maintenance, fuel and insurance cost.
- Reimbursement paid IN ADDITION to hourly rate.
Employment Details: ASAP
- Work Schedule: Day Shift – Sub driver on two different routes. Generally working one to two days per week.
- 7:00am - 4:30pm*
- 7:00am - 3:00pm*
- End times will vary depending on mail/parcel volume, as we work until all is delivered.
- Pay: $26.97* hour
- *Start and End time may vary.
- **Straight time, Health & Welfare and Holiday paid out. Benefits paid as cash equivalency up to the maximum of 40 hours per week per the DoL Wage Determination under the Service Contract Act.
- **Rate of Pay and cash equivalent benefits exceed the requirements set by the Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division
