Clinical Educator-NICU at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

The Clinical Educator assists in the creation and communication of educational programs and instructs others to meet the organization's competency requirements for it's staff, accreditation standards, as well as promote an environment of quality care for patients.

Salary Range: starting at $90,000 based on experience and education.

MINIMUM EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE

Required:

• Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a current matriculation in a Bachelor's in Nursing degree program with an established program end-date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and NRP certification required at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire.

Preferred:

• Certification in a specialty area preferred.

Experience:

Required:

• Two (2) years of nursing experience in assigned area of responsibility.

Preferred:

• Two (2) years experience as a Clinical Educator

Special Skills/Equipment

• Demonstrated leadership abilities and knowledge of adult-learning principles, and the ability to effectively conduct presentations. Must have strong working knowledge of MS office.
