About This Position
MOBIS Technical Center of North America is the Research & Development Center for Hyundai MOBIS, a Tier 1 supplier and an affiliate under Hyundai Motor Group. MOBIS produces and supplies a wide variety of automotive components to customers including component modules (chassis, cockpit and front-end module), core system, eco-friendly and DAS-mechatronics. Mobis delivers the design and development of advanced engineering, autonomous driving, infotainment, component modules, safety, brake and steering systems, lamp, ICS/electronics and software development solutions that consider the safety and convenience of our customers as well as the future.
Requirements:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS:
- Analyze multimedia common complaints and field issues.
- Manage small projects and technical resources, including planning, estimating, and follow-through.
- Communicate effectively with core design team to improve overall system performance.
- Create test plans based on specifications and standards and analyze test results.
- Update software on all multimedia related controllers in vehicles.
- Communicate with adjacent companies and teams to resolve complex issues that involve multiple stakeholders.
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS/ REQUIRMENTS:
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Knowledge of Android OS/Linux OS is preferred.
- Experience with OEM vehicle development projects is preferred (0-6 years).
- Knowledge of in-vehicle multimedia related technologies including Bluetooth, Android Auto/Carplay, AM/FM/SXM, Telematics, CAN systems, Over-the-Air updates is preferred (0-6 years).
In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, tasks relating to the following area will be assigned as required.

- Be reliable (with reliable mode of transportation.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to drive for long periods of time.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
- 7AM-4PM/8AM-5PM/9AM-6PM
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
TRAVEL:
- Occasional international travel
- Frequent local travel (30-40%)
