Director of SalesROLE DESCRIPTIONOur CompanyWe are Denver’s premier manufacturer of window covering products including shades, blinds, and draperies. We fabricate our products at our 30,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Arvada. Our customers are commercial general contractors and direct dealers. We install commercial projects such as office buildings, hotels, hospitals, and schools.Role OverviewThe Director of Sales will lead and scale its revenue organization as the company enters its next phase of growth. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy while building a disciplined, high-performing sales organization. The Director of Sales will oversee a team of sales representatives and estimators and will implement systems and processes that drive predictable revenue growth.The immediate objective is to grow annual revenue while establishing reliable forecasting, consistent sales execution, and strong cross-functional alignment with operations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRevenue LeadershipLead the company’s sales organization to achieve annual revenue growth targetsManage performance across multiple sales channels including commercial projects and residential shading systemsMonitor and improve sales pipeline health and deal progressionForecasting & Pipeline ManagementImplement a disciplined forecasting methodologyManage quarterly and annual revenue forecasts within ±5% accuracyEnsure CRM pipeline integrity and reporting reliabilitySales Process DevelopmentImplement a scalable sales process across the organizationEstablish consistent deal qualification and pipeline stage definitionsImprove sales-to-operations handoff processes to ensure project clarity and executionSales Team LeadershipLead and develop a team of sales representatives and estimatorsConduct regular deal coaching and pipeline reviewsBuild structured professional development plans for each team memberChannel StrategyDevelop and manage balanced growth across priority sales channelsExpand partnerships with builders, architects, and other strategic industry partnersIdentify opportunities for market expansion and new revenue sourcesCulture & AccountabilityBuild a transparent and accountable sales cultureEncourage collaboration between sales, operations, and leadershipReinforce high standards for professionalism, communication, and performanceQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSDesired Experience10+ years of progressive sales leadership experienceExperience leading B2B sales teams in construction, building products, or related industriesProven ability to implement sales systems, forecasting discipline, and CRM processesExperience in coaching and developing sales professionalsTrack record of growing revenue through strategic planning and team leadershipLeadership TraitsSuccessful candidates will demonstrate:Operational discipline and attention to detailStrong coaching and leadership capabilitiesStrategic thinking balanced with hands-on executionAbility to build trust across sales, operations, and executive leadershipClear communication and accountabilityWORK ENVIRONMENT100% On Site: This position is fully in-office with no remote or hybrid optionReports To: COOLocation: Arvada, COBENEFITSCompetitive base salaryPerformance-based incentive plan tied to revenue growth and team performanceHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysHoliday Break (Christmas to New Years) – Enjoy the Holidays with Friends and Family!
