About This Position
Do you have the skills and proven work ethic as a Legal Assistant, or similar role, with at least two years’ experience? Cesar Ornleasl Law is looking for a legal assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Essential Roles
· Coordinate and provide communication that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered
· Handle case assignments, draft documents, review case progress and determine case closure
· Help clients achieve understanding and comfort in the legal process
· Facilitate multiple case aspects (case coordination, information sharing, etc.)
· Help clients make informed decisions by acting as their advocate regarding their legal questions, suggested providers and proper documentation
· Develop effective working relations and cooperate with legal team throughout the entire case management process
· Take the extra mile and interact with clients to keep track of their progress and to ensure satisfaction
· Record cases information, complete accurately all necessary forms and produce statistical reports
· Promote quality and cost-effective interventions and outcomes
· Assess and address legal issues
· Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules, and regulations
Skills
· Outstanding knowledge of case management principles, healthcare management and insurance practices
· Effective communication skills both oral and written
· Knowledge of Office programs such as Microsoft Office, emails, faxing, and video conferencing
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
· Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
· Compassionate in dealing with clients and teamwork skills to solve adverse or unknown hurdles
· Ability to use logic, reasoning, and previous experience to analyze, evaluate and translate situations, with this
· Talent to exercise good judgment, understand adverse situations, and make appropriate decisions
Requirements:Education and Experience
· High school Education or the equivalent required
· 2 years of Personal Injury experience (preferred but not required)
· Current case manager license, certification, or registration (preferred but not required)
· BS degree in related legal field a plus
· Proven working experience in case management requested
