Summary:

The Private Dining & Restaurant Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue by promoting and selling the hotel’s private restaurant space for events, group dining, and exclusive experiences. This role blends hospitality, sales strategy, and relationship-building to position the restaurant as a premier destination for both hotel guests and local clientele.

CIMA Restaurant serves up thoughtfully sourced American food with Mediterranean influence. Inspiration is drawn from rich, international traditions while the team works hand-in-hand with local farmers and producers to bring fresh, expressive, seasonally inspired plates to the table. The space blends warm woods, supple leather, and soft edges with clean marble and bright foliage, creating an elevated yet inviting atmosphere in the restaurant and our exclusive Private Dining Room that seats 12. During spring, summer and autumn, a 50-seat enclosed patio offers the perfect al fresco dining experience. Located in Rosemont near O’Hare International Airport, CIMA brings Chicago-caliber dining within easy reach of both suburban locals and travelers passing through. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase bookings for private dining, group reservations, and special events.
  • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel partners, and local businesses.
  • Conduct site tours, tastings, and client meetings to showcase the restaurant’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to create customized menus and event packages.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract negotiation and event confirmation.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM records.
  • Represent the restaurant at networking events, trade shows, and community functions.
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and uphold the hotel’s brand standards.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, restaurant, or event sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your annual salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
