General Manager at BLUE CARDINAL HOME SERVICES, LLC – Dallas, Texas

Description: An established plumbing and HVAC company in the West Texas market is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee operations and support ongoing growth. This executive-level position requires strong financial skills, operational discipline, and the ability to develop leaders at all levels of the organization. The General Manager will be responsible for P&L performance, customer experience, and team development. Relocation assistance is available.

Duties and Responsibilities of our next General Manager:

• Lead and grow multiple HVAC and plumbing locations, ensuring operational stability, efficiency, and service quality
• Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and customer experience across HVAC and plumbing teams
• Develop, implement, and scale processes and best practices to support continued growth in both HVAC and plumbing
• Drive financial performance through budget management, productivity, sales oversight, and full P&L ownership
• Set and achieve production, revenue, and profit goals across all locations
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain high-performing HVAC and plumbing technicians and leadership teams
• Act as the primary on-site leader and problem solver for operational challenges
• Evaluate, coach, and develop team members to maintain high-quality service and operational standards
• Ensure compliance with all state and local HVAC and plumbing codes and regulations
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while fostering a positive, accountable workplace culture
• Provide structured reporting and actionable recommendations to ownership
• Collaborate closely with ownership to establish growth strategies and long-term success
• Travel as needed and maintain a strong on-site presence across locations

Requirements:

Qualifications of our next General Manager:

• Proven operational leadership experience managing and growing HVAC and plumbing businesses
• Experience leading both HVAC technicians and plumbers
• Responsible Master Plumber license strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC and plumbing systems
• Demonstrated success owning and managing P&L
• Track record of hiring, training, and developing high-performing teams
• Experience stabilizing and scaling multi-location operations
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
