Job Summary

The Yard Manager is responsible for the planning, control, optimization, and availability of caffolding and other material across projects and the yard. This role ensures that scaffolding systems are efficiently allocated, maintained, tracked, and returned in line with project schedules, safety standards, and cost objectives. The position plays a key role in reducing material losses, improving utilization rates, and supporting on-time project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, allocate, and control scaffolding and other materials across multiple projects and the yard.
• Ensure timely mobilization and demobilization of scaffolding materials as per project schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track material movements, losses, and damages.
• Optimize material utilization to minimize idle stock, shortages, and unnecessary procurement.
• Coordinate inspections, maintenance, repair, and certification of scaffolding and other material.
• Oversee yard operations, storage, loading, and transportation of scaffolding and other material.
• Liaise with project, operations, procurement, and logistics teams to meet material requirements.
• Prepare reports on inventory levels, utilization, losses, and material condition.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in material or resource management, preferably in scaffolding or construction.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, components, and safety standards.
• Experience with inventory management systems and material tracking.
• Strong planning, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
