What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a Business Systems & Data Analyst to help design and enhance PSE’s data and visualization capabilities while supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will develop new processes, recommend technologies, and translate complex datasets into clear business solutions. You’ll work with large data sets and multiple platforms while collaborating across internal teams and external partners to improve how PSE leverages data to drive efficiency and innovation.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Embrace, uphold, and live out PSE’s core values around People, Problem-Solving, and Progress.
- Collect, validate and interpret client data using SQL, Python, Java, C++, and other tools.
- Build dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Elasticsearch, and other platforms.
- Collaborate with engineers, economists, and technicians to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Perform analysis on large datasets and generate reports, infographics, and presentations for internal teams and clients.
- Support project management, ensuring deliverables meet timelines and project goals.
- Develop and improve internal processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance technical practice areas.
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, troubleshooting systems, integrations, manipulating large datasets, and supporting client or internal business relationships, ideally within a professional services or consulting environment.
Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding and familiarity with coding languages such as Python, R, C, or C++.
- Experience with databases such as MSSQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Power BI, Elasticsearch, Linux, and similar platforms.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $85,677 - $93,267 annually.
This salary range reflects the anticipated base salary for three to five years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be placed at a level that is commensurate with the candidate’s relevant years of experience, education, and technical expertise.
