Summary:
The Business Analyst, Servicing Operations supports Servicing Operations by analyzing requirements, identifying problems, opportunities, and solutions related to loan servicing processes, including credit reporting, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assesses current servicing practices and functions, collects information, and analyzes industry trends and regulatory requirements related to Credit Bureau Reporting to determine organizational objectives.
Evaluates the company’s current servicing functions, business structures, and credit reporting processes.
Recommends and provides insights for new servicing projects/programs by analyzing operational requirements, credit reporting guidelines, and compliance standards.
Makes recommendations and improves systems and processes by studying servicing products, reporting logic, and data integrity.
Gathers critical information from meetings with various stakeholders (Servicing, Compliance, Legal, Technology); analyzes and summarizes information and trends into technical and operational reports related to credit bureau reporting and servicing performance.
Effectively communicates insights, risks, and improvement plans to cross-functional team members and management, particularly related to credit reporting accuracy and regulatory adherence.
Handles moderately complex servicing, reporting, and compliance-related issues and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses solid working knowledge of servicing operations, Credit Bureau Reporting (including Metro2 files), and applicable regulations.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Knowledge of servicing operations and business structures.
Knowledge of Credit Bureau Reporting, Metro 2 guidelines, and dispute handling.
Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Extremely organized and detail oriented.
Problem resolution.
Ability to build collaborative relationships.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business related field.
Two (2) to four (4) years of experience.
