Job description

You are applying for a job with an independently owned cooperative member of Ace Hardware Corporation, who operates this Ace Hardware store, not Ace Hardware Corporation. The independent store owner alone is responsible for and independently makes all decisions concerning employment related matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing and scheduling.

Job Responsibilities

· An Inventory Coordinator: in retail he She handles managing inventory operations and ensuring efficient supply chain management. Key responsibilities include:

· Inventory Management: Keeping accurate stock levels, tracking incoming and outgoing materials, and updating inventory records.

· Communication: Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure prompt deliveries and correct inventory counts.

· Shooting outs via Zebra gun and ensuring that all store outages are addressed promptly.

· Assisting store manager with supply quantities to ensure that ample product is ordered and received.

· Ensuring all merchandise is promptly stocked in the proper location.

· Updating the store weekly: on price changes and specials.

· Assist other staff with Stocking and restocking shelves.

· Assisting and providing excellent customer service.

· Other duties as assigned.

Duties

· Documentation: Documenting purchases, receipts, and payments, and providing reports on inventory activities.

· Problem-Solving: Finding and addressing discrepancies in inventory processes and improving inventory management systems.

· Reporting: Reporting inventory activities to management and ensuring compliance with financial targets and operational policies.

· This role typically requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

· Strong Organizational skills.

· Basic math skills are a must.

· Computer skills needed.

· Ability to work independently and self-start.

· Excellent communication skills needed.

· H/S equivalent required, College degree preferred.
