About This Position

Job Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the human resources activities of the hospital. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment and Staffing
  • Plan workforce needs with department heads.
  • Advertise job vacancies and coordinate recruitment processes.
  • Conduct interviews and support hiring decisions.
  • Manage onboarding and orientation for new employees.
2. Employee Relations
  • Address employee concerns and grievances.
  • Promote a positive work environment.
  • Ensure fair and consistent HR practices across all departments.
3. Performance Management
  • Implement staff performance evaluation systems.
  • Guide supervisors on performance improvement plans.
  • Support employee development and career growth.
4. Training and Development
  • Identify training needs for clinical and non-clinical staff.
  • Coordinate professional development programs.
  • Maintain training records for compliance.
5. HR Policy and Compliance
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and hospital regulations.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation.
6. Workforce Planning
  • Monitor staffing levels in departments.
  • Work with management to ensure adequate staffing for patient care.
  • Support shift planning where required.
7. HR Reporting
  • Prepare HR reports for hospital leadership.
  • Monitor turnover, absenteeism, and staffing trends.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • A master’s degree is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
