Acting as both strategist and operator, you will define how top-tier partners experience the platform while ensuring disciplined execution across all touchpoints. The role also includes leading and developing a team of strategic relationship managers, building a high-performance culture grounded in accountability and growth. This is a highly visible position requiring strong executive presence, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence across complex stakeholder environments.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will own the strategic direction and performance of a major partner portfolio while leading a team responsible for managing high-value relationships. You will define and execute growth strategies, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and long-term revenue goals. You will oversee partner success across digital engagement, operational delivery, and commercial performance while ensuring consistent execution standards.

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution for key partner accounts, ensuring sustained growth and retention
  • Manage and develop a team of Strategic Relationship Managers, setting clear expectations and performance standards
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across marketing, product, sales, and operations to support partner success
  • Oversee digital strategy initiatives, including customer experience optimization and engagement improvements
  • Monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and portfolio health to guide decision-making and prioritization
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with top-tier partners and stakeholders
  • Translate business strategy into actionable operating plans, roadmaps, and delivery frameworks
  • Ensure disciplined execution of commercial, operational, and digital initiatives across the portfolio
Requirements

This role requires extensive experience in strategic account leadership, digital or payments ecosystems, and team management within high-growth environments. You bring strong executive communication skills, deep commercial judgment, and a proven ability to manage complex partner relationships while leading distributed teams.

  • 12+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or digital commerce, including leadership responsibilities
  • 3+ years of experience managing managers or leading high-performing teams
  • Strong background in gift cards, payments, fintech, or digital commerce ecosystems preferred
  • Proven success managing large-scale strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to manage both long-term roadmaps and short-term execution priorities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills at executive level
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in fast-paced, matrixed environments with multiple priorities
  • Experience leveraging data and insights to drive decisions and improve performance
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field required
