Automotive Detailer at Mills Automotive Group – Baxter, Minnesota

This position is responsible for thoroughly cleaning and restoring the appearance of vehicles, both inside and out. This includes washing, vacuuming, waxing, polishing, and deep-cleaning interiors, as well as removing stains and applying protective agents. Qualified candidates must possess high attention to detail, high quality workmanship, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and productively.

Duties and services may include, though are not limited to:

• Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, including: Vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and cleaning upholstery, washing, drying, and waxing vehicles, and cleaning windows, mirrors, wheels, and trim
• Remove dust, overspray, and residue from body shop repairs
• Perform paint decontamination and basic polishing (if experienced)
• Inspect finished vehicles for cleanliness and quality before delivery
• Maintain detailing equipment and supplies
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Assist with moving vehicles safely around the lot or shop
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Prior automotive experience is a plus, though it is not required. We have outstanding training opportunities available to those willing to grow. Candidates must be passionate about working in the exciting Automotive industry!

The workdays for this position are Monday through Friday, with a rotational Saturday. Our facilities are always closed on Sunday, and on designated Holidays throughout the year.

The starting hourly pay rate range for this position is $16.00 – $17.00+ and will be evaluated based upon relevant skills, training, experience, education and other job-related factors permitted by law.
