We are currently looking for a Principal Costpoint Consultant in United States.In this role, you will lead high-impact Costpoint implementations and consulting engagements for enterprise clients, particularly in government contracting. You will drive business process analysis, system architecture, and solution delivery across multiple Costpoint modules, ensuring clients achieve operational efficiency and compliance. The position requires mentoring and guiding teams, analyzing complex data, and providing actionable recommendations to clients. You will also contribute to process improvements, new service offerings, and business development opportunities. This role offers the chance to work remotely while influencing large-scale projects and shaping client operations with expertise in financial, project, and HR systems.   • Lead full lifecycle Costpoint implementations, including system architecture, design sessions, and end-user training.
  • Develop solutions across Costpoint modules such as Accounts Payable/Receivable, Project Setup, Cash Management, Consolidations, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Advanced Project Budgeting.
  • Conduct client assessments, gather business requirements, analyze processes, and formulate actionable recommendations.
  • Mentor associate consultants and guide project teams to ensure quality, compliance, and successful delivery.
  • Assist clients in implementing business plans, resolving issues, and documenting process improvements.
  • Support business development by contributing insights, new service offerings, and collaboration with Sales & Marketing teams.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet client requirements and maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Costpoint consultant or in a related role within enterprise-level government contracting organizations.
  • Strong expertise across multiple Costpoint modules and full lifecycle implementation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business processes, collect and interpret data, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills with the ability to work effectively in remote environments.
  • Familiarity with additional business management software (CRM, Deltek, SAP, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, UNANET, Fusion) and databases is a plus.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and accountable, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as Costpoint Master/PRO or Deltek certifications are preferred.
