About the role:

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the continued growth of our Field Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and screening top talent for critical construction and field-based positions, including Project Managers, Controls Technicians, and other skilled roles.


Partnering closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and construction hiring leaders, you’ll play a key role in building strong, sustainable talent pipelines in a highly competitive labor market. This role will also help lead & support college and early-career recruiting initiatives, helping Divcon attract emerging talent for internships and entry-level roles. Key Responsibilities:

Partner closely with hiring managers to understand current and future workforce needs across construction, field operations, and early-career roles.Source both active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, trade schools, colleges and universities, industry events, and other creative channels.Assist with leading/supporting college recruiting efforts, including building relationships with universities, attending career fairs, coordinating campus outreach, and engaging with student organizations.Manage job postings and applicant flow for high-priority field, construction, and early-career roles.Conduct phone screens and initial candidate assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through timely communication, transparency, and follow-through.Track candidate activity, pipeline health, and hiring progress using the ATS and internal reporting tools.Coordinate interview scheduling and communication between candidates and hiring managers.Develop innovative sourcing strategies to build diverse, high-quality pipelines in a competitive skilled labor and early-career talent market.Support employer branding and outreach initiatives, particularly those focused on trades, field talent, and university partnerships.Collaborate with hiring teams and HR partners to support smooth onboarding and successful transitions for new hires and interns.

Qualifications:

2+ years of recruiting or sourcing experience, preferably supporting construction, skilled trades, or field-based roles.Experience with or strong interest in college or early-career recruiting is a plus.Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging hard-to-find candidates in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with candidates and hiring leaders.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously.Experience working with applicant tracking systems; Rippling experience is a plus.Passion for connecting people to opportunity and supporting frontline and early-career talent.This role is 100% onsite Mon-Fri, at our Irving office.
The pay range for this role is:
90,000 - 105,000 USD per year(Irving, TX)
