About This Position

SUMMARY

The Front End Supervisor is responsible for ensuring superior customer service, supervising and directing the Front End team, training and coaching staff to provide the highest standards of customer service and ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed. The Front End Supervisor will assist the Customer Service Manager in creating a positive store atmosphere for customers and a positive working environment for Associates while fostering the Niemann Harvest Market culture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
  • Maintains customer satisfaction by providing solutions to concerns

  • Understand all aspects of the cashier/bagger position
  • Supervises Front End cleanliness and organization
  • Controls traffic flow on the front end through the Queue system
  • Process information and merchandise through computer system and POS register system at lanes, self-checkout/RAP attendant and service deskService Desk functions (Answer telephone, refunds, bill payment, Lottery, Western Union, Rug Doctor, etc.)
  • Follows all store and department policies and procedures
  • Follows safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Manages 3-12 Associates on the front end. Follows NFI policies and applicable federal, state and local laws.Assign and direct workAddress complaints and resolves problems
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
