We are looking for a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to join our growing team in Bluffdale, Utah.
Job Summary: The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations across North America, with a specific focus on Canada–United States cross-border trade. This role manages procurement, inventory, transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods.
The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners to improve supply chain performance, mitigate risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and support timely product delivery that meets business and customer requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with company objectives, driving efficiency, cost control, and service excellence.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and goods, ensuring suppliers meet quality, cost, delivery, and compliance requirements.
- Manage inventory planning and control using forecasting and inventory management systems to prevent shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence.
- Lead transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations across Canada and the United States, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Manage end-to-end logistics activities, including inbound, outbound, and intercompany shipments throughout North America.
- Oversee all customs, import/export, and cross-border trade activities between Canada and the U.S., ensuring full compliance with customs regulations, trade agreements, and government requirements.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure accurate documentation, efficient border clearance, and cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level and performance expectations are met.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve visibility across the supply chain.
- Analyze supply chain and logistics performance metrics, prepare reports, and use data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Utilize NetSuite ERP to manage purchasing, inventory, logistics transactions, reporting, and data accuracy across multiple locations.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operations to support landed cost analysis, duty management, inventory valuation, and accurate financial reporting.
- Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain and logistics team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including transportation disruptions, customs delays, supplier issues, and inventory constraints.
- Prepare and present regular reports and updates to management as required.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CCS, or equivalent are considered an asset.
- Several years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
- Hands-on experience managing customs compliance, import/export processes, and Canada–US cross-border logistics.
- Proficiency in NetSuite ERP, particularly in supply chain, inventory, purchasing, and logistics modules (experience with EPICOR, SAP, or similar systems is an asset).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
