Samba Recovery is seeking a full-time Outpatient Therapist to join our Peachtree Corners team. This position provides therapeutic services to individuals participating in outpatient treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The ideal candidate holds a current clinical license in Georgia (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT), and is passionate about providing client-centered care in a structured, supportive environment.
Licensed Outpatient Therapist Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling services to clients enrolled in outpatient programs (IOP, PHP, and OP).
- Complete clinical documentation, including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and ASAM notes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Document clinical services and progress notes in accordance with state and program standards.
- Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups focused on recovery, coping skills, relapse prevention, and wellness.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support client treatment goals.
- Participate in case consultations, treatment team meetings, and ongoing training opportunities.
- Assist with crisis intervention and safety planning, including referrals to higher levels of care, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure in Georgia as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent (required).
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field from a regionally accredited institution.
- Ability to supervise clinicians in training.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and meeting clinical documentation standards.
- Ability to manage a caseload while maintaining professional boundaries and client engagement.
Hours:
- Either (4) 10-hour shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (off Thursday), or
- Monday - Friday, 9am - 7pm
