Patient Services Representative at St. Claire Regional Medical Center – Morehead, Kentucky

The Patient Services Representative collects patient demographic and insurance information for data entry.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Registers patients according to established workflow processes across the enterprise.
• Inputs patient demographic and insurance information for medical record and billing purposes.
• Verifies health insurance.
• Responsible for obtaining co-pay/deductible/out-of-pocket as applicable.

Lead Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responds to the orientation and developmental needs of employees.
• Assists with the day-to-day operation of the department, reviewing and delegating daily tasks and providing oversight of processes.
• Assists with candidate interviews and disciplinary actions.
• Analyzes workflows, ensuring complete and accurate data is entered timely without treatment delay.

Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required.

Experience:
Previous clerical experience preferred.
