About This Position
Open to Texas residents ONLY.
The Healthcare Recruiter will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, screening, interviewing, and on-boarding of employees for PIH Health. Must have knowledge of State and Federal employment laws applicable to the recruitment process. Will partner with department management throughout the recruitment, screening, and selection process.
SPECIFIC SKILLS NEEDED
• Maintain composure & balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and tactfully
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Attention to detail, actively listens and always follows appropriate channels of communication
• Excellent organizational and follow-through skills, able to prioritize and balance multiple assignments
• Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, Remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Uses time efficiently, able to deal with frequent change or unexpected events; must be able to handle multiple tasks with interruption
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
Required:
• 2 years Human Resources experience with a working knowledge of applicable State and Federal employment laws.
• 2 years recruitment or recruitment sourcing experience with a proven track record; to include interviewing, collaboration with school programs and coordination of job fairs.
• Ability to facilitate, negotiate, collaborate, and coordinate functions relative to the recruitment process.
Preferred:
• Health care experience
