About the role
Autronica is looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our Gdańsk team.
As a Compliance Specialist at Autronica, you will play a vital role in ensuring that life-saving fire and gas detection solutions meet the highest international standards. Based in our Gdańsk office, you’ll be part of a global, highly skilled Compliance team working across industrial, marine, and energy markets worldwide. This is a role where your attention to detail, technical insight, and collaborative mindset directly contribute to safer environments on land and at sea.
You’ll work at the intersection of technology, regulation, and innovation-supporting existing product compliance, certifying new solutions, and staying ahead of evolving global standards.
If you’re motivated by purpose, enjoy working in an international setting, and want your expertise to make a real-world impact, this is an opportunity to be part of something that truly matters.
You Responsibilities:
- Maintain and ensure ongoing compliance of fire detection products and systems for industrial and marine markets by coordinating with certification bodies and testing laboratories across Europe.
- Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, including declarations of conformity and test reports.
- Monitor and analyze changes in products, regulations, and standards to keep the product portfolio fully compliant.
- Support audits, manage escalations, and contribute to complex compliance analyses within a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) system.
- Handle related administrative tasks, including invoices.
Qualifications we are looking for
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and curious professional who is comfortable working with regulations, data, and technical documentation in an international environment. You don’t need to be an engineer-but you do need to be confident navigating technical information, understanding what it means, and translating it into clear, compliant outcomes. You are willing to learn, share knowledge, and actively contribute to team effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements
- Proficiency in both English and Polish at a minimum B2 level, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Higher education in quality assurance or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in certification and compliance (relevant experience can compensate for formal education).
- Experience working with technical documentation such as specifications, certificates, and test reports.
- Exposure to certification processes/ quality audits/product change management.
- Strong analytical mindset and structured problem-solving approach; comfortable “speaking with data” and drawing clear conclusions.
- Strong coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, proactively follow up, and drive issues to resolution.
Nice to Have
- Education in a technical or electronics-related field.
- Experience with fire detection systems or related safety technologies.
- Background in environmental and/or chemical compliance.
Candidates who are studying part-time and have relevant experience gained through professional work, academic projects, or internships are encouraged to apply.
What do we offer?
- Interesting and challenging assignments in an international environment.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Flexible working hours.
- Insurance and pension plans.
