Overview

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. has an immediate opening for a Supply Chain Manager at our Humacao, Puerto Rico facility. In this leadership role, you will oversee the full supply chain strategy and design for the Lutron SM Humacao plant, including production planning and scheduling, purchasing, warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, inventory control, logistics optimization, total material and freight cost management, and ERP/SAP parameter maintenance.



Responsibilities

  • Develop supply chain strategies that maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure highquality material availability.
  • Plan and schedule production and materials based on organizational and customer needs, balancing capacity and recommending adjustments to optimize throughput and cost.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure timely delivery, competitive pricing, and reliable supply of materials.
  • Monitor supply chain performance using Key Performance Indicators to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Manage logistics, including warehouse operations, distribution, material handling, inventory control, and accurate inventory records.
  • Drive lean supply chain initiatives and lead Kaizen/5S efforts within responsible functions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop crisis or disaster plans to minimize the impact of supply chain disruptions.
  • Maintain alignment with Lutron’s culture in all supply chain practices and leadership actions.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field required
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within electronic manufacturing
  • 5+ years of leadership experience across supply chain functions including planning, scheduling, logistics, warehousing, shipping, receiving, and transportation
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, TMS, or comparable ERP and digital logistics systems strongly preferred
  • Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma certifications are a plus
  • Proven experience in process standardization, system implementation, and operational excellence in manufacturing or distribution
  • Deep understanding of inbound logistics, internal material flow, and outbound delivery processes
  • Professional certifications such as CPIM, MMS, ERP, or MAPICS are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of trade compliance, transportation cost management, and warehouse optimization
  • Experience working in a fastpaced, global, matrixed organization

Skills Required

  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and changemanagement capabilities
  • Advanced communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel; Power BI is a plus
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with ERP planning system expertise
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
