Overview:

The Senior Regional Director of Program Development will join a team of 150+ purpose-driven staff members in a friendly, focused, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is the largest accredited leadership honor society in the United States, with over 800 chapters and more than 2 million members.


This is a sales role and forms part of the Program Development department and reports directly to the Director of Program Development. The Program Development Team drives the growth of the organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage an end-to-end, complex sales process from lead generation to launching new client accounts.

  • Build customer relationships to start new NSLS chapters within a designated region or vertical.

  • Attend higher education and other industry conferences.

  • Perform lead generation and outreach, qualify leads, book and conduct consultative sales presentations to acquire new customers.

  • Prepare new client accounts for launch and transition to support team.

  • Maintain accurate and timely data entry into HubSpot and CRM systems.

  • Meet or exceed designated sales metrics.

  • Monitor customer preferences to collaborate on the focus of sales efforts.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a team-first mentality.

  • Offer support and leadership to team members in times of change or difficulty.

  • Complete seasonal projects or special responsibilities as assigned.

  • Partner closely with our chapter support team to ensure smooth transitions for these new chapters and their continued success.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 5+ years of work experience with 2+ years focused on sales required (experience in the collegiate environment is a plus)

  • Intermediate experience with G Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM required

  • Track record of meeting and exceeding goals

  • Limited travel required to industry conferences and a select number of university visits (less than 10%)
