About This Position
Summary Description
nbkc bank is currently looking for a Bank Facilities and Security Manager to join our Facilities team.
The Bank Facilities and Security Manager will oversee and manage all bank properties, facilities and offices and administer the bank’s Security and Safety Programs, respond to crimes, ensure security procedures, and conduct regulatory research.
This position will be based at our headquarters in Kansas City, MO, and will require travel to the other three nbkc branches within the Kansas City metro area (Overland Park, Leawood, Liberty).
What you’ll do
As Bank Facilities and Security Manager you will be responsible for:
- Oversight and administration of all bank property, facilities, office service operations and maintenance by working closely with Senior Management, vendors, contractors and government agencies.
- Day-to-day facilities management (i.e. being an escalation point for service requests, working with building owners/property management on ongoing service needs/requests, and overseeing vendors that we utilize for the facility (cleaning, mats, maintenance, etc.).
- Shipping and receiving responsibilities
- Interacting with office and bank staff on a variety of needs
As Bank Security Officer you will be responsible for:
- Administering all aspects of the Bank’s Security Program and Safety Program by acting as a liaison between bank personnel and law enforcement authorities when responding to robberies or other crimes.
- Ensuring security procedures are being followed correctly and monitoring alarm and/or data systems.
- Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Conduct industry/regulatory research to ensure bank policies, risk assessments, etc. includes required components
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- Three to five years’ banking or security experience
- At least a year of vendor relationship management skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated, and attention to detail is necessary (ability to multitask)
- Ability to research banking and security related regulations and interpret to enhance the Bank’s policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Follow all applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
