Set-Up Assembly Lead at TYM North America Inc – Rome, Georgia

POSITION SUMMARY: The Set-Up Assembly Lead is instrumental in the production process, as they will lead and coordinate a team of Set-Up Assemblers. The role ensuring tractors needed for the assembly line are broken down in a safe and efficient manner. This role will be responsible for the accuracy of the orders given to the assembly line.

Job Functions:

•Lead and prioritize work assignments for team members.

•Demonstrate and teach standard practices.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

• Meet production goals.

• Record and complete required paperwork timely and accurately.

• Tag tractors with correct sales orders and serial numbers.

• Leverage lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination.

• Use industrial power tools and hand tools.

•Operate forklift safely and proficiently

•Oversees and facilitates the delivery and installation of products.

•Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

•Ability to multitask, manage time, & prioritize

•3+ years of forklift operation experience

•2+ years of leadership experience

•Excellent organizational skills with special attention to detail.

•High school diploma or equivalent.

•Minimum 3 years of experience with power tools preferred.

•Regular and timely attendance required.
