Job Description

Title: Staff Accountant

Department: Accounting

Reports To: Accounting Manager

Job Summary & General Duties:

• Apply principles of accounting and internal policies to process invoices, employee expense reimbursements and corporate credit card receipts
• Review, reconcile and enter shipping transactions on a weekly basis
• Contacting inventory vendors monthly for any outstanding invoices
• Research and resolve issues with vendors
• Performs deep analysis of shipping data to work with management on shipping contract performance
• Audit credit card transactions
• Deposits checks into bank weekly
• Ensures the integrity of accounting information in all duties
• Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Maintains historical records by scanning, filing, and auditing documents timely
• Protects organization values by keeping confidential information
• Accomplishes Accounting and AdvoCare mission by thoroughly understanding and following policies and procedures
• Special projects and analysis assigned

• Associate or bachelor’s degree
