Associate, Warehouse at Red River Quiltworks LLC – Mckinney, Texas

This is a contract to hire based on performance. You will start as a 1099 Independent Contractor without taxes taken out of your checks. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders and store policy. They also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to uphold high standards of quality and efficiency.

We are looking to fill two positions, one will be full-time 7AM-4PM, and one will be part-time 12PM-6PM, both shifts will be Mon-Sat alternating Saturdays and one day off during the week.

• Order Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and label customer orders in accordance with company standards and procedures, ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on products and packaging to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards.
• Inventory Management: Assist with receiving incoming shipments.
• Organization and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse, including proper storage of products, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors, team members, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of any issues or concerns.
• Customer Service: Support the customer service team by providing accurate and timely information regarding order status, inventory availability, and shipping updates as needed.
• Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements related to shipping, handling, and storage of products.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing orders.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Prior experience in the quilting industry or a similar e-commerce environment is a plus.
