The Technologist, under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This requires independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation via radio-pharmaceuticals for radiologic diagnosis, whether scheduled or emergent, while providing radiation protection according to prescribed safety standards. He/she will participate in the clinical activities, including call, within Nuclear Medicine and PET.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent education/experience
• National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire. Or
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Experience with established procedures and protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Specific to the handling of FDG and operation of PET scanner.
