Commercial Door Technician & Crewman at Primary Staffing Source – California, Pennsylvania

Our Orange County and Van Nuys locations are looking to fill multiple openings in our Door Technician role. From Crewman (helpers) to Foreman Technicians for repair/installation of Commercial doors such as hollow metal doors, aluminum glass doors, overhead rollup doors, and sliding doors. These individuals must be well adverse within the construction or mechanical industry. We are looking for someone who has several years of experience working with tools and is capable of physical work for 8 hours a day with the ability to lift 75lb-100lb regularly.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install doors and hardware on a wide range of commercial entry/exit/warehouse doors in commercial companies and warehouses
• Repair, adjust, replace, and/or troubleshoot issues with entry/exit/overhead doors and associated hardware.
• Communicate progress and challenges with dispatch team throughout the install/repair process.
• Always operate in a safety conscious manner
• Climb ladders
• Written and Oral communication

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License (NO DUI in the past 7 years)
• Strong work ethic

• Clean, professional, organized & efficient

Must have strong mechanical and electrical skills and be proficient with the use of hand and power tools. Must be willing to learn at a rapid rate and be self-accountable.
Crewman: Must have all the requirements stated above, plus 4 years minimum experience in construction or Mechanical field. Must take pride in work and level of service provided.
Lead/Foreman Technicians: Must have all the requirements stated above, plus 4 years minimum experience servicing and installing Commercial doors. Must take pride in work and level of service provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
