Project Technician at ALASEASON – Greenville, Alabama

Job Summary for this role:

• Performs various maintenance duties and handles service requests requiring general technical labor skills while traveling to different locations

General Accountabilities:

• Routinely performs general building/contracting functions under direct supervision.
• Understanding and performance of various trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, general interior and exterior building work.
• Performs routine maintenance for buildings.
• Orders parts, supplies, or equipment to fix routine commercial and industrial buildings
• Plans and lays out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.
• Performs general cleaning duties of buildings or properties as needed.
• Records type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
• The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Job Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1-2 years of related experience in building, operations, or maintenance performance/upkeep
• General abilities in maintenance work across disciplines
• Must be proficient with basic computer skills to generate email and text messages
• Active Driver's License with clean driving record

Physical Requirements

• Site Environment - site work will require ability to navigate uneven project site terrain, ability to climb ladders/scaffolding, walk up and down stairs, ability to lift 50 lbs
• Read reduced size black and white spec sheets, reports, schedules on computer screens or hard print
