About This Position
We are seeking an HR professional to join our team. Job responsibilities include but not limited to: serving as interface with employees regarding benefit plan enrollment, changes, day-to-day questions, etc.; processing of billing for ancillary insurance products; working with benefit vendors and TPA on eligibility issues related to health plans, life insurance claims, short-term and long-term disability; oversight of light duty and worker's compensation; leave of absence management (medial, personal, military, etc.); maintaining appropriate records related to benefits and employment; entering of employee information in the HR payroll system in the creation of employee records and ongoing maintenance of electronic records for enrolling in and deducting of health plan premiums.
Candidate must have the ability to handle multiple projects and to work independently, as well as with the team.
Job Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred knowledge of FMLA, ADA and ERISA. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
