Direct Hire Pharmacy Technician at South County Hospital – Wakefield, Rhode Island

We are delighted to announce that we are offering a Direct Hire Traveler Program for experienced Pharmacy Technicians! This program will offer premium rates and the chance for you to utilize your RT skills in targeted specialties within South County Health. Experienced Pharmacy Technicians will commit to 13-week assignment with a commitment to work 40 hours/week.

The Direct Hire Traveler Pharmacy Technicians Assists pharmacists in preparation and dispensing of medications, drug procurement and inventory control, proper drug storage, performance improvement and quality control activities, and maintenance of patient and other records. Work only under the supervision and direction of a pharmacist in accordance with established policies and procedures and in keeping with the scope of services provided.

What you’ll need to qualify:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Licensed in the state of Rhode Island as a Pharmacy Tech II. Staff hired prior to December of 2018 may maintain a Pharmacy Tech I license while continuously employed by South County Health.
