Clinical Prior Authorization and Benefit Management Analyst in Lebanon, Indiana at Witham Health Services

The Clinical Prior Authorization and Benefit Management Analyst is responsible for obtaining prior authorization and benefit checks for patients within clinical office areas including but not limited to the Infusion Center, Hematology Oncology, and Surgery. Individuals in this role are required to meet competencies outlined in this job description and those outlined in the essential functions of their primary area. The Clinical Prior Authorization and Benefit Management Analyst is responsible for verifying patient's insurance benefits and to ensure coverage prior to the scheduled procedure and coordinate with the ordering physician's office when pre-certification is required.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and accurate typing skills required.
• Clinical background required with experience in prior authorizations and ability to navigate insurance benefits and third party sites.
• RN preferred.
